Clairmont Road

Clairmont Road is a thoroughfare in the State of Georgia in the United States that connects the City of Decatur to the City of Chamblee in metropolitan Atlanta, in a north-south direction. In the City of Decatur, where Clairmont originates and forms a "T"-intersection with Ponce deLeon Avenue, it is spelled as "Clairemont." Clairmont Road is Exit 91 of I-85 which passes over Clairmont Road, just north of Briarcliff Road, in a northeast-southwest direction. From Commerce Drive in Decatur to Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Chamblee, Clairmont is also designated Georgia State Route 155. From Decatur to Buford Highway, Clairmont Road is also known as U.S. Highway 23. However, U.S. Highway 23 diverges from Clairmont Road at the Clairmont-Buford Highway intersection, and from northeast of that point Buford Highway is designated U.S. Highway 23. Buford Highway proceeds in a northeast-southwest direction, in a roughly parallel path to that of I-85. Buford Highway is also known as Georgia State Route 13.
