Claire Skinner (born 1965) is an English actress, who is well known in the United Kingdom for her television career.
Skinner is best known for her starring role as Clare in the British TV comedy Life Begins.
She is one of the UK's most distinguished actresses working in the film, television, theatre, radio and voice-over mediums. She was born and brought up in Hemel Hempstead. She now lives in Muswell Hill, North London.
