Claire Roche is a singer harpist based in Co. Dublin, Ireland.
Three CDs to date
- Dancing In The Wind: poetry of W.B. Yeats set to music
- Lilt Of The Banshee: traditional Irish, Welsh and English songs, tunes and poetry set to music
- Songs Of Love & Loss: haunting originals
Claire has performed as an opening artist for Irish traditional group, The Chieftains and for The Fureys, and has a large following in the Southern U.S., mostly because of these concerts and because of her performances for some years at The Florida Folk Festival, in White Springs Florida, at the Stephen Foster Memorial Park, on the banks of the Suwannee river.
Claire plays the concert harp as well as the Irish harp. Claire is well known for her intimate and very moving performances. She usually tours Australia most years plus some rare concerts in her native (Ire-)land.
