Claines

Claines is a small village just to the north of Worcester, England, on the left bank of the River Severn. Claines is situated in the heart of Worcestershire on the A449 between Worcester and Kidderminster. It has a church which dates from the the 10th Century.
A survey of churchyard and cemetery monuments was carried out in 1986 and the records should be available for consultation at the Worcester city museum, Foregate Street.
Claines is also known for The Mug House, one of the only pubs in a churchyard in England. Situated to the north of Worcester it is a pleasant area with the countryside and city accessible with ease.
