[edit] Windows Home Server
Hi Charlie, thanks for dropping by Wikipedia and getting some information into the Windows Home Server article! I was watching your Channel9 interview earlier today and I have to say, this is hands-down one of the coolest things Microsoft has done in the last few years. Anyways, we've been working pretty hard around here to attain a high level of quality of information around the hundreds of Microsoft Windows articles we've got, so we're always happy to have some help. We're ususally the top Google/Windows Live search result for a lot of Windows tech, beating out even MSDN :-), so I think it's important that the info is top-notch and reliable. Wikipedia has some very important policies on Wikipedia:Verifiability and Wikipedia:Neutral point of view that help us reach those goals, which you'll find to be a good read if you are looking to contribute further. Drop me a line on my talk page if you've got more questions. Thanks again! -/- Warren 02:12, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Windows Home Server Logo
Hi. I just have a suggestion. It would be a good idea if there is a possibility to have a Windows Home Server Logo (white background) uploaded under fair use to complement the article --Jutiphan 00:29, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
I would love to, but I frankly don't understand the legal implictions. I'll ask my marketing team what they think. The logo has been posted on many websites already, so I personally don't think it should be an issue, but Wikipedia seems pretty hard core about making sure rights are respected. ckindel 06:54, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Conflict of Interest
Charlie;
Having contributed to the Home Server page myself I don't really have that much of a problem; but as I'm sure you're aware the general consensus for people editing pages for which they are directly connected comes under WP:COI. I can see yet another publicity problem looming should someone decide to object to you editing in a public way. I'd suggest going through the COI page carefully; point 1 will especially be a problem. Note it's only a guideline, but well, just in case ... --Blowdart 07:09, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] WIndows Server Home Blogs
Yes, but from the official website everybody can go to the Windows' forum/blog easily right? We do need to advocate many services from the same website here. — Indon (reply) — 16:30, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
