CJWF-FM, to be known as 95.9 The Wolf, is a new Canadian radio station, scheduled to launch in 2008 or later in Windsor, Ontario. The station will broadcast a country music format at 95.9 FM.
Owned by Blackburn Radio, the station was licenced on May 9, 2008. [1] However, another radio station by Neeti P. Ray, on behalf of a corporation to be incorporated, for a broadcasting licence to operate a new FM ethnic radio station to serve Windsor, was approved in part to use the frequency at 95.9 FM, the same frequency that is being reserved for Blackburn Radio (CJWF).
Call sign, frequency and launch date for the proposed ethnic station and the launch date for CJWF-FM are yet to be announced (TBA).
