Club de Fútbol Ciudad de Murcia, usually abbreviated to Ciudad de Murcia, was a Segunda División football club based in Murcia, in the autonomous community of Region of Murcia. They played at the 16,000 seater La Condomina stadium. Ciudad Murcia was relocated to Granada and renamed to Granada 74 CF after the end of the 2006-2007 season (similar to Wimbledon F.C.'s transformation to the MK Dons).

[edit] History
CF Ciudad de Murcia were formed in the heat of the summer of 1999, when Quique Pina, a former player of Real Murcia, started the club with the help of local businesses and influential friendships.
In the 2003-04 season, Ciudad made their first appearance in the Segunda División A. They started the season positively reaching 12th position at the highest, and eventually avoiding relegation with a 17th position finish. In the 2004-05 season, they again narrowly avoided relegation, finishing in 18th position - the last position to avoid relegation.
Impressive performances, particularly towards the back end of the season, saw Ciudad attain a much higher league standing in 2005-06. Influential players such as Luque and Ngom Kome helped to keep them in the promotion picture right to the last day, where they lost out to Levante for the third promotion spot.
Ciudad had a good 2006-07 season, only narrowly missing out on promotion.
On June 6, 2007, the club was acquired by an investor from Granada, transferring it to that city and renaming it to Granada 74 CF. The players still under contract with Ciudad had the option to cancel their contract or stay on with the newly formed club.[1]
As the second division team moves to Granada, the reserve team (CA Ciudad de Lorquí), which plays in Tercera División (4th level) will become the club's first team in 2007-08.
