[edit] Camelion

A tag has been placed on Camelion, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. MER-C 09:07, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Warn and Reverse

Just 2 questions: How do I reverse someones edits (vandalism) and how do I warn a person?

The easiest way to reverse edits is to go to the history page for the article, click on the "last" change next to the particular edit, then click the "undo" link to the right of the edit summary. Verify that the new text is what you want and click "Save page". The summary will be created automatically. I've never warned a user, but I believe most editors simply put a warning template on their discussion page (see Wikipedia:Vandalism#Warnings). Be wary that anonymous vandals (those with an IP address instead of a username) are possibly using public computers, and most likely will never see your warning. [edit] Kiss the Dust

Your article did not provide independent verifiable sources that it met the notability guidelines. It also did not specify in which country or countries it is a set book. It may well be that the book is worthy of an article, but it is up to you to provide references to establish its notability. Unsourced articles may be deleted at any time. Hope this helps, Jimfbleak.talk.06:14, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

The recreated article still really doesn't address the notability issue, especially as the author doesn't appear to have an article. I think you need to write in full what the ALA and FuBr are - I can guess the first, but as a non-American, I have no idea what the second is. Also I suggest adding the nationality of the author. If you can find some reviews of the book, that would also help to establish some credibility on whether the book is notable. At present, I think it is still at risk. [edit] Non-free use disputed for Image:HKIS LOGO.PNG

Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:HKIS LOGO.PNG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:33, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
