This box includes all chartered cities before 1900.

I question the usefulness of this template. It's just a rather uninteresting list of Swedish cities, which might as well be replaced by a link to cities in Sweden and a listing of the relevant cities there. There's also the problem that stad and "city" are not equivalent terms, which is bound to confuse non-Swedes.

The lack of refinement is not the problem. It's whether there's any need for it that I'm questioning.

Yes it appeared they did agree with the template being unneeded. So I have now modified it to make it more like a "link to a list". Fred-Chess 10:42, 25 September 2005 (UTC)
