[edit] Transcript?

The link for the url seems to always say "transcript". What do I do if the url is to an audio file of the interview? --Arctic Gnome 09:19, 4 December 2006 (UTC) editprotected

I second that. Please change the label "transcript" to some more appropriate label such as "interview".

[edit] Template error?

Can someone please check why reference #2 in Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais is giving an error; last is specified? -- Avi 14:37, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

The same thing is happening for all interview citations in Cannibal Holocaust. Helltopay27 17:33, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

I reverted the edit that was causing the warnings. AlistairMcMillan 21:40, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Type?

What is the "type" field for? (Some detailed documentation would be great.) —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 08:22, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Period, comma with "program", "city" parameters

In using this template like this:

I get:

Lucas, Jack. Interview with Ed Tracy. Medal of Honor Series. Tonight at the Pritzker Military Library. World War II Musuem, New Orleans, Louisiana. November 11, 2006. Retrieved on 2007-09-12.

which includes a period and a comma after the "program" parameter. Can someone more familiar with the code address this? Thanks — Bellhalla (talk) 06:15, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

editprotected
It's an error in coding for the city= parameter. Line 51 says
|{{#if: {} | , {city}. | }}
but the leading comma in
, {city}
should be removed, because every item that can be displayed prior to the city ends with punctuation. RossPatterson (talk) 14:58, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Description of fields?

Why is there no description of fields in the documentation? —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 20:26, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] program

editprotected in the example given below....shouldn't the program name be italicised?

current:

 • Walters, Barbara. Interview with Larry King. Larry King Live. CNN. 4 Feb 2008. (Interview [transcript]). Retrieved on 2008-04-30.

proposed:

 • Walters, Barbara. Interview with Larry King. Larry King Live. CNN. 4 Feb 2008. (Interview [transcript]). Retrieved on 2008-04-30.

--emerson7 14:22, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

Maybe? I've added a category to see how this parameter is actually being used. I can't think of any cases off the top of my head that shouldn't be italicized, but may there are. --- RockMFR 19:01, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
After taking a look at a selection of the usages, it looks like this actually shouldn't always be italicized. Sometimes the program param is used for network names, or library names, or other things that are not italicized. In cases where there should be italics, they are usually there. Looks like it would be best to just add the italics manually when needed. --- RockMFR 00:06, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
