Talk:City God Temple

[edit] Requested move
- Question How do you plan to structure the several article (name)s which will arise by necessity -- City God Temple, City God Temple, Shanghai, City God? I ask because most references to "City God Temple" is likely to refer to the temple in Shanghai, so it would make sense to redirect City God Temple to City God Temple, Shanghai. However, if you do that then there's not much point for a move. My preferred structure is to have a new article called City God which deals with the concept and temples generally, but to leave City God Temple here, with a prominent disambiguation at the top pionting to City God. --PalaceGuard008 (Talk) 01:08, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

- I am comfortable with leaving the article here since it appears to be the most well-known place for that English name. I think it should be made clear to the reader that the place in this article is only about that type of temple in Shanghai, not in general. That can be done in the intro paragraph or the 1st section. I don't plan to expand the city god article much. I was just going thru it and saw the disconnect. --Voidvector 02:04, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
