I am surprised by the statement about French presidents. As far as I can remember, Georges Pompidou loved to drive fast cars and had a Porsche 911 and Valéry Giscard d'Estaing drove a dark green Peugeot 505.

I've been trying to pare down the bloated lists of "similar" cars, but knowing nothing about French cars, can't do it without this piece of basic information that seems to be missing from the article. IFCAR 12:48, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
