I think I need to add more references - I'll get to it soon (mid-March) if no one beats me to it. OffBalance 00:08, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

NOTE: Citizenre "Independent Ecopreneurs", please do not add links to your sales site. This is a violation of Wikipedia's "Neutral Point of View" policy. It also makes Citizenre look bad. OffBalance 21:09, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Plans vs. Promises

Perhaps there is a difference between "Plans" and promises. The first might take the form of a blueprint, a budget, a lease on some physical land, a signed contract with a supplier, an FCC approval of an electronic prototype, a pilot project, or any of a hundred other evidences of concrete progress towards a stated goal. I've seen none of that - what I have seen is a pretty website with flashy text and a rising number of "buyers" for a product sight unseen. Maybe its just me. But I'd like to recommend the term "Promise" be used rather than "plan" if others agree it's more appropriate. Benjamin Gatti 01:04, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Cargo-Cult Science?

Is it proper to categorize CitizenRE as a Cargo cult or example of Cargo cult science? Clearly the components re being met:

  1. Many people believing that belief alone, or togetherness, or unity, or other force of collective thought can solve a scientific problem in the absence of a genuine demonstrated experiment.
  2. Modern religion forming around the skeleton of modern technology.
  3. Pseudo scientific endeavour which clearly lack scientific integrity.

No - not even close. 199.125.109.104 17:41, 30 June 2007 (UTC)

There's nothing pseudo-scientific or religious about a start-up company that plans to attempt what has not been attempted before. Please refrain from making outrageous claims like this. Works of Sweat (talk) 19:45, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
