Haven: City of Violence is a paper and pencil role-playing game first created in 2000 by Louis Porter Jr. Design and released in 2003. Haven: City of Violence has been best described as a neo-noir based "role playing game of hyperkinetic action".

Unlike many role-playing games, Haven: City of Violence was first ever optioned by the movie production company Brigade Entertainment in 2002, before the game was even releases to the gaming public.[1]
