The City of Sheffield Arrows, or just Sheffield Arrows for short, is a basketball team from Sheffield, South Yorkshire with there first team (Senior Men) competing in the English Basketball League, Division 1.

The City of Sheffield Arrows have teams ranging in age of under 11's to Senior teams.

Always boasting the most exciting young players in the country the Arrows have become defined by there high tempo play and crowd pleasing performances. As always the arrows have added the cream of talented overseas players, with the 2006/07 season no different. Chris Macfarland and Clint Deas have already made their impact on the league, both on and off of the court.

The division 1 team play their home fixtures at the English institute of sport (next to ice sheffield) Tip off is usually 6pm or 8pm.

[edit] Training Sessions and Match days

Most senior home games are played at the English institute of sport in Sheffield on Saturdays at either 6pm or 8pm. This is a great chance to come and admire this years over sea's transactions Chris Macfarland and Clint Deas both spending the season playing for the arrows, both originally from America.
