City of Caves is an award-winning[1] visitor attraction in Nottingham in which the Caves of Nottingham are accessed from the upper mall of the Broadmarsh Shopping Centre. Nottingham was once known by the ancient name "Tiggua Cobaucc" which meant "City of Caves", from which the attraction takes its name.

It consists of a network of caves, carved out of sandstone that have been variously used over the years as a tannery, public house cellars, and as air raid shelters.

The attraction was previously named the Caves of Nottingham but this name was changed when the Galleries of Justice took over its running and the visitor offering was overhauled in 2004.
