The City Centre Core in Birmingham, England, is roughly the area within the former Birmingham Inner Ring Road.[1] Prior to the demolition and reconfiguration of lengths of the Inner Ring Road, the area was seen as the City Centre. Today, Birmingham City Centre is defined as being the area within the Middle Ring Road. Chamberlain Square, Old Square and Victoria Square are features within the Core as are many old features. Major streets in the City Centre Core are, New street. Corporation Street, and Colmore Row . Old and new features are juxtaposed there.
