CityLife is the name of a development in the city of Milan under development by a group of companies(Properties Generali SpA, leader, RAS SpA, Immobiliare Lombarda SpA, Lamaro Contracts SpA, Grupo Lar Desarrollos Residentiales), that won the international tender for the rehabilitation of the historic neighborhood of Fiera Milano with an offer of 523 million euro. The winning project was designed by Arata Isozaki, Daniel Libeskind, Zaha Hadid, and Pier Paolo Maggiora.

The project involves the construction of three skyscrapers called Il Dritto (The Straight One), Lo Storto (The Twisted One) and Il Curvo (The Curved One). In addition more than 50% of the area to be redeveloped (143,000 $m 2$ ) will be devoted to a park, characterized by waterways that evoke the canals of Lombardy, and will also host a building dedicated at the Museum of Design. The residential area will occupy about 148,000 $m 2$ , consisting of 1,300 apartments (housing about 4,500 people) in high-rise buildings up to 20 floors. Finally, there will be parking for 9,400 vehicles located in underground facilities.

Work on the project, begun in 2007, will be completed by 2014, and envisions five distinct phases, each of which includes development of private and public areas.

The building, which upon its completion should be the largest in Italy, will top 218 meters with 50 floors, and will look down on the new Plaza of the Three Towers together with the other two skyscrapers. It was designed by the prominent Japanese architect Arata Isozaki, who is renowned in Italy for the design of the Palasport Olimpico in Turin.

185 meters high with 40 floors, the building rises vertically with a dynamic twisting shape. Its designer is the Anglo-Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid.

The building, reaching a height of 170 m with 34 floors, looks out over Piazza Domodossola and will be flanked by the two other skyscrapers. It was designed by Daniel Libeskind.
