Citizens Bank is a popular name used in various forms across the United States, and is almost as commonly used as First National Bank. In addition to various, smaller banks under the Citizens Bank moniker or related monkiers, at least three major banks in the United States and Canada use the name:
- Citizens Bank of Canada is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. A virtual bank.
- Citizens Financial Group is headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island, and is perhaps the most well-known of the three Citizens Banks. It is the U.S. subsidiary of Royal Bank of Scotland, and markets under the Charter One name in markets it overlaps with another Citizens Bank.
- Citizens Republic Bancorp is headquartered in Flint, Michigan.
It is also the name of a sports stadium, Citizens Bank Park, a baseball stadium in Philadelphia. Naming rights are owned by Citizens Financial Group.
