At current, the qualifications for the major city category are a population of 2450, sufficient to include the cities listed on Template:North Dakota, excluding air bases.

A cutoff point of 3000 is probably best, taking Beulah and Hazen as a unit (5609). I don't think Rugby should make the cut myself, but its unique position and population just under 3000 could merit an exception. --Alexwcovington (talk) 17:44, 10 July 2005 (UTC)
