[edit] Title, splitting

Thanks for help and sorry for my bad English.

I'm not sure about the best title. Dutch Wikipedia says Ciske, most links pointed to Ciske de Rat, the book is called Ciske de rat (small r) or Ciske the Rat. And it could be split into 3 or more articles Ciske de rat (novel), Ciske the Rat (film 1955) and film 84 (and perhaps the musical). And a dismabiguation page Ciske or Ciske de rat is then needed.

Image: The Image had been proposed for deletion, first because of missing fair-use rationale, then bad rationale, wrong article (was Danny de Munk) etc. I'm not sure if this is cleared. --Muziekfan 17:11, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

I think it works OK as a single article at the moment, as none of the individual sections is very large. Also, because for most English-language readers the character of Ciske is totally unknown, it is an advantage to have all this related information together in one place. If you ever decide to add a lot more information on the films, the books or - when it happens - Ciske the Musical, then you may consider it worth splitting them out into their own articles - but not yet.
I understand your difficulty with the title: my personal preference would probably be for Ciske the Rat (I assume that's also the published title of the first book in English) with, as you say, some redirects.
I don't know enough about image use to be able to advise you - sorry. Have you tried the image help desk? HeartofaDog 23:14, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
