Cision AB, formerly known as Observer AB, is a Reputation Management and Media Intelligence firm for corporate clients. They consult on communications processes, marketing, public relations and investor relations. Their head office is located in Stockholm, Sweden. Their main office in the United States is located in Chicago and were formerly known as Bacons Information in the U.S. Also located in Canada, the company was previously known as Bowdens.

Cision AB is traded on the Nordic Exchanges Mid-Cap list under the short name CSN and has approx. 17 000 shareholders. The company had around 2,600 employees and a turnover of SEK 1.9 billion in 2007. Cision operates in the US, UK, Sweden, Canada, Germany, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Portugal, Lithuania, the Netherlands and China and has partners in another 125 countries.

The European private equity-firm Triton has through a Swedish holding company, Cyril Acquisition AB, in a press release on the 30th of April 2008, announced an offer to acquire all shares and convertible participating debentures issued by Cision AB (publ). The acceptance period runs until the 2nd of June 2008.
