A tag has been placed on John Pule, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NAHID 12:14, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] your edit at Zoroaster
When you notice that your changes are not "catching on," you might find that the edit history will give you a reason why they didn't. In the case of Zoroaster, the name of the hymns are not mentioned in the lede because
- "some" people think he wrote the whole Avesta, or at least significant portions of it
- only the most essential information should be in the lede sentences of an article.
- in this case, it also destroys the readability
Further, in your particular case, the grammar was faulty.
Don't let these points discourage you in general, have fun, but also please be prepared to learn.

[edit] Wikimedia Commons
Thank you for uploading images/media to Wikipedia! There is however another Wikimedia foundation project called Wikimedia Commons, a central media repository for all free media. In the future, please consider creating an account and uploading media there instead. That way, all the other language Wikipedias can use them too, as well as our many sister projects. This will also allow our visitors to search for, view and use our media in one central location. If you wish to move previous uploads to Commons, see Wikipedia:Moving images to the Commons (you may view images you have previously uploaded by going to your user contributions on the left and choosing the 'image' namespace from the drop down box). Please note that non-free content, such as images claimed as fair use, cannot be uploaded to the Wikimedia Commons. Help us spread the word about Commons by informing other users, and please continue uploading!
