Talk:Circassian Genocide

It is absolutely not justified to merge this article with the article Muhajirs. Muhajirs and the movement of Muhajirs out of the Russian Empire were consequences and one of the components of the phenomenon Circassian Genocide!

So, we can say Circassian Genocide consisted of the Russian administration actions that were aimed at destroying the Circassian through military and police actions, cultural interventions, etc among them the violent actions compelling the Circassians to leave their land.

I consider the proposal to merge the two mentioned articles as totally politically motivated.

I am against the proposed merger. One is about genocide, the other is about emigration and exile. Links between the two articles should be sufficient. Of course, there could be clean-up so that the two articles are more distinct with less overlap. 66.117.50.141 (talk) 14:05, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
