Circus Insane is a United Kingdom circus sideshow, ran by and featuring performer Doc Insane, who performs both classic and modern sideshow acts such as fire eating, bed of nails, human blockhead, face in broken glass, and the human dartboard.[1]
[edit] Origins
The roots of the circus began in 1994, when Doc was working for English folk artist Davey Slater's, then Midlands based, theatrical company Pavanne Promotions. This was where Doc first began to lay on beds of nails and eat fire, and as the years rolled on other freak show acts were added to his repertoire.
As well as Doc, Circus Insane also features Legendary Punk Icon, ex-Sex Pistols and Tenpole Tudor singer Edward Tudor-Pole.[1] As well as aerialists and contortionists from the World of Circus.
