Circulon is a name given to tough non-stick saucepans, frying pans and other cookware manufactured by Meyer. Circulon non-stick is said to be tougher and contains a "Hi-low" wave to protect the non-stick from abrasion that would damage traditional non stick cookware.[citation needed] However, it is not advisable to use metal utensils with sharp points.[citation needed]
