[edit] History

After a successful collaboration with Tears for Fears on their The Seeds of Love album, Oleta Adams was offered a record deal. Adams scored her biggest hit to date in 1991 with her cover of Brenda Russell's "Get Here", which peaked at #4 in the UK and #5 in the US. The album received much critical acclaim [1] and even peaked at #1 on the UK album chart. The album was certified Gold in the United States [1] and spawned two Grammy nominations. [2]
