Circle Takes The Square is the self-titled debut EP release by the experimental rock band Circle Takes the Square. It was self-released in 2001, and listed 5 songs. The official release was made by HyperRealist Records in August, 2002.

Multiple crafty versions of this demo were created by the four of us before the official version came out. Paper bags, manilla envolopes, spray paint, rubber stamps and razor blades were used to create countless cassettes (some of them blank - sorry!) and CDRs of our five-song demo. When the official version was released by Hyperrealist, a demo version of In the Nervous Light was added.
