Circle Round The Sun is the third album by guitarist Leo Kottke. Eight of its eleven songs are studio re-recordings of songs from his first (live) album 12-String Blues. Although they should have been improved by being recorded in a professional studio, there is noticeable oversaturation in many of the songs, causing his vocal to break up. It is generally acknowledged that Leo himself hates the album and has reportedly even autographed copies with the words, "Burn this album" because of its poor production techniques. Regardless, it remains something of a fan favorite -- although it has not been re-issued on CD.
