CIRH is a Canadian radio station, broadcasting at 97.9 MHz in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The "IRH" in the call letters stands for Information Radio Halifax. The programming consists of a frequently updated 15 minute recording (that repeats) containing weather, news, traffic, and entertainment information.
In 2002, Jack McGaw was given approval to open up the new station and began broadcasting at an unknown date.
The station is owned and operated by Jack McGaw.
On February 28, 2008 CIRH was given approval by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) to move from 97.9 to 107.7 FM.
