[edit] Shock site dispute page
Thanks for informing me about the shock site dispute page. I signed it. Is there anything else I need to do?
Vala M 16:55, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
As fellow shock site owners, we know a bit more about shock sites than some random troll administrator with a gripe against shock sites. Thanks for your support. Aftli 18:29, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for keeping me informed. If I can do anything else, tell me! I signed where your username was. Thanks again! Zouavman Le Zouave (Talk to me! • O)))) 18:52, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Shock Sites
I saw your comment about the Shock Site page needing to be expanded but no one is able to. Every bit of information that is added is repeatedly deleted by the same administrator over and over again. He originally voted to have the entire page deleted. Shock Sites like Meatspin need your help. Please sign this Wikipedia:Requests_for_comment/Mangojuice Ciper 16:40, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
- That RfC was not created in good faith. Aftli and others have been incredibly rude to MangoJuice on the Shock Site Talk Page, so despite agreeing with you in principle, I cannot support at this time. I suggest that if you want unsourced content kept, you or somebody else remind MangoJuice that in the last AfD the community almost unanimously was fine with keeping the content despite a lack of reliable sources, so its deletion would be against consensus. – Lantoka (talk) 20:40, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
- Mangojuice has wasted everybody's time here for months. I have every right to be rude to him, as I feel he's been rude to all of us. The article is not owned by him, and it is not a dictatorship. Popular consensus says not only that the deletion of material must stop, but that he MUST go - another administrator may keep an eye on the article if they wish, but they must maintain a neutral point of view on the subject matter. Aftli 22:59, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
- Being that rude can only count against you. His civility in light of your rudeness makes people much more inclined to believe his side of the story, because he remains calm and composed while you're getting all worked up. – Lantoka (talk) 09:21, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your RfC response
It might be a good idea for you to incorporate your RfC response into the top section describing the dispute. And you should probably sign as a party rather than someone else, considering that you've been campaigning to get people involved against me. Mangojuicetalk 15:15, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
- You should avoid fragmenting your discussion, it just makes it less likely that anyone will notice, that was my point. As to the "campaigning," please see WP:CANVAS for behavior guidelines. I think you violated them when you left messages to users saying things like "Sites like meatspin need your help" [1]. Also, I noticed you were pretty selective in who to contact: you didn't contact, for instance, User:JzG or User:Blueaster, who weren't on the talk page trying to add sites without sources. I'm not trying to make a big deal out of your behavior, though, because the community clearly supports my general approach anyway. I'm just saying you aren't an outsider to the dispute, so you could edit the top part if you wanted to (although doing that would require you to be one of the parties).
