I am an Oakland City, Indiana, native. I am a graduate of Waldo J. Wood Memorial High School, Oakland City University (when it was Oakland City College), and Indiana State University at Terre Haute. I am a former English teacher, having taught at Waldo J. Wood Memorial High School and at Oakland City University, as well as several other schools around the state.
