Cinema (band)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cinema was a short-lived band started in 1982 by ex-Yes members Alan White (drums) and Chris Squire (bass), with South African guitarist Trevor Rabin. They had plans to release their debut album in 1983 and were working on a number of songs (most written by Rabin).

Eventually, these musicians were joined by Tony Kaye (keyboards) and Jon Anderson (vocals), both founding members of the then-disbanded Yes. Soon after this, the band dropped the name "Cinema" and renamed itself "Yes."

For the further history of this band, see Yes.
