Cindu Chandrasekharan (born 11 May 1981 in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India) is an Indian radio personality. Chandrasekharan graduated from Christ College, Bangalore in Mass Communication, Psychology and English Literature. She also has an English honours degree in Themes in contemporary poetry and literature in popular music. She currently works with India's first international radio station which she joined in 2006. She hosts The Big Breakfast on Radio Indigo, a radio station in Bangalore, India which is aired on 91.9 FM. Cindu earlier worked with Radio City, another popular radio station with branches across India. At Radio City she hosted the daily show "The Matinee Show" and weekend shows like "Matinee Self Service", "Karma Yogi", "Home Sweet Home". Listeners appreciate her fine music sensibilities. In the last three years she has acquired a large fanbase in Bangalore. She made her acting debut with a stage play called "Scripted" which was a set of three short plays. The British Council selected her as one of their 20 "Creative Future of India" in 2006.
As of September 2007 however, Cindu has not been on-air with Radio Indigo, giving rise to speculation that she may have moved on to a different role elsewhere.
