[edit] Welcome
Hello, Cilencia, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Wikipedia Boot Camp, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The Five Pillars of Wikipedia

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! - Try doing a couple of larger edits, instead of thousands of minor edits, as it just clogs up the history page. Plus, the only person "stepping in all our toes" is you because of all these edits.
- Edit summaries - use them!

- Don't take that note too personally. It is easier to view the history of a page if there are a big decent-sized edits, but the end result is what matters most. You might find it helps to use the preview button.
- Edit summaries are great because someone might have a page on their watchlist, and they will see the edit summary which tells them if you made a tiny grammar correction that they don't need to go look at, or if you did something a little more controversial, like removing statements you felt were POV. It's also nice to be able to click the history tab at the top of the page and get an outline of what changes the page has been through.
- Hope you enjoy Wikipedia and keep contributing! NickelShoe 19:29, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
