[edit] Title

What is the source of the title "Cigarettes and Valentines"? Edgessouth 22:38, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The Network

I'm getting tired of this. Somebody keeps putting info on Wikipedia that states that "Green Day is in fact The Network. This is a matter of complete OPINION and shouldn't be said. Also, don't get carried away with the 'The Network' part of this page. If you want to say a lot about The Network, make a section in this page that says something like "The Network Connection".

  • Actually, not it's not. It's been confirmed by Billie Joe...

It's also been confirmed as flat out fact that the members of Green Day wrote those songs (read the articles on The Network). Combine that with a vocalist that sounds very much like Mr.Armstrong and I think we can put the pieces of the puzzle together. Sorry. 64.53.37.3 (talk) 05:59, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

how 'bout this... find a source, or shut up. so they sound alike. big deaL.--Greenday21 (talk) 20:36, 12 May 2008 (UTC)Greenday21

[edit] Citing sources

Wikipedia does not publish original research. You must cite verifiable sources for the claims made on the article. Jtrost (T | C | #) 14:15, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Only sources I know...

The only source I know was a mention in Collector's Edition issue of Metal Hammer all about Green Day and some vauge mentions in Google searches. --Saint-Paddy 00:37, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

Here's one: [1]--Saint-Paddy 00:42, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

And another, [2] And another [3] So as you can see... it's not original research. --Saint-Paddy 00:46, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

In considering this article for deletion (PROD), I looked at these sources, which barely mention the topic, have little apparent credibility, and add little to the info already available in Green Day. Sorry, but I don't think this non-album merits a Wikipedia article. HG | Talk 06:26, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Go ahead, I haven't watched this article much but it's apparent it's just turned into a page for cruft from 14-year old girls. However, I did find some sources from Rolling Stone [4] and [5] --Saint-Paddy 18:37, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] It's like Smile

It's like the Beach Boy's Smile, it's an album that never got released (Well... Smile did, but as a solo album of Brian Wilson.) --Saint-Paddy 00:50, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] rerecording

How hard can it be to rerecord an album? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Greenday21 (talkcontribs) 20:34, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Why does that matter? Bands scrap entire albums all the time. In this case, the album was stolen, the band thought they could do better, and that was that. Runnersdialzero33 (talk) 23:48, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
