CIGNA Golf Classic

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The CIGNA Chip in For A Cure Golf Classic is an annual golf tournament for professional women golfers on the FUTURES Tour, the LPGA's developmental tour. The event has been played since 1999 in the Hartford, Connecticut area.

The Tournament is a 54-hole event, as are most FUTURES Tour tournaments, and includes pre-tournament pro-am opportunities, in which local amateur golfers can play with the professional golfers from the Tour as a benefit for local charities. The benefiting charities from the CIGNA Golf Classic are various breast cancer charities in the Hartford area.
