Hi, my name is Pierre, I live in Montréal (Québec), in Canada, and I'm 34 years old (born June 19, 1993).

My passion is Astronomy; it has brought me to become President of the Montreal French Centre of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada / Société d'astronomie de Montréal in 1993 (Librarian 1990, Administrator and then Secretary in 1992); Secretary of the Fédération des astronomes amateurs du Québec in 1994; Co-Founder and President of the now-defunct Groupe d'astronomes amateurs Polaris in 1994 also; and lately, Editor of the AstroInfo newsletter of the Fédération des astronomes amateurs du Québec since late 2003. I have also offered to help on the French website for the Canadian events of the International Year of Astronomy 2009.

I am the part-time father of a little girl born in late 1998. I am currently single.

I work as a graphic artist in a Montreal print shop. While I just started working there in April 2007, I've been working in that industry for the past 10+ years.
