See Talk:Central Intelligence Agency/Country Article Style Rules
- First, the style guide is not relevant. It is not an article about Ethiopia in general.
- Second, It is an article about the specific topic of CIA activities in Ethiopia, Congressional restrictions on such activity, and, as relevant, CIA activities in bordering states that may cause cross-border conflict.
- Third, what POV do you think is being expressed?Howard C. Berkowitz (talk) 22:59, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
Hi Howard,
The style guide is about "CIA in Country X" articles, if you think the style guide is irrelevant, then please revise the style guide, as it is supposed to pertain to this category of articles.
Did you contribute most of the text for this article?
I tried looking at log for CIA in Africa but it is hard to figure out the point where the text is introduced.
The text of the article is an analysis of Ethiopia's relevance to US policy in general, without saying that the analysis is a CIA product. If the analysis is a CIA product, it should be sourced as such.
There are no items which directly relate to CIA in Ethiopia.
I have moved the text of this article to US-Ethopia relations article if there is one, and I have added one clearly CIA-specific item to give the article some relevant content.

- Actually, the style guide, IIRC, is something you wrote, and I don't remember any consensus discussions about it. In any event, I have concluded that I cannot contribute effectively under the country-by-country structure. Do whatever you please; you will anyway. Have a nice day. Howard C.
