[edit] Career

Quinn began his senior career at St. Patrick's Athletic before joining Drogheda United in 2002[1] becoming a regular member of their squad during the 2003 season. Ciaran left Drogheda in 2004 to join local rivals Dundalk but he failed to settle at the Lilywhites. After leaving Dundalk at the end of the 2004 season, Quinn had spells at Monaghan United[2], UCD and Glenavon[3] before signing for Shelbourne in July 2007[4]. Quinn made his Shelbourne debut on July 20, 2007 coming on as a second-half substitute during a 1-0 defeat against Finn Harps at Finn Park[5] and scored his first goal for Shels with a delightful 25 yard lob over the goalkeeper during a 4-0 victory against Limerick 37 at Tolka Park on September 1, 2007[6]. Quinn made 8 appearances for Shelbourne during the 2007 Season, 7 of which were substitute appearances. Quinn struggled to break into Shels starting eleven and was released at the end of the 2007 season[7].
