Ciarán Ryan, born September 3, 1979 in Wicklow, is an Irish footballer who is currently without a club. Ciarán began his footballing career by signing for Blackburn Rovers at the age of 16. He returned to Ireland in 1999 to sign for his hometown club Bray Wanderers and had been a regular member of their squad for 8 seasons before leaving the Wicklow outfit to sign for Shelbourne in February 2007. Ciarán made his Shelbourne league debut on March 9, 2007 in a 2-2 draw with Kildare County at Tolka Park but would depart the Tolka Park side in June 2007.
