Cian Byrne (born 12 February 1989 in Drogheda is an Irish football goalkeeper who currently plays for Drogheda United in the FAI Premier League. Cian has been promoted to the first team squad at Drogheda to provide back-up to the Mikko Vilmunen as their other goalkeeper, Dan Connor is currently injured. Before he joined Drogheda he played for junior side Drogheda Boys and Albion Rovers.
