CIA activities in Japan

See U.S. Intelligence involvement with German and Japanese War Criminals after World War II. After the end of WWII but before the CIA was formed, several war criminals were given immunity by Army Intelligence.

CIA gave money to support the Liberal Democratic Party in Japan during the 1950s and 1960s[1], supporting Nobusuke Kishi and Okinori Kaya.
