Not seeing much notability... do tell me more, though. Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :) 23:45, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- Well then, I stand corrected. I'm restoring the article. Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :) 01:05, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Thy Serpent
I removed their myspace from the links because it is not official, it said on the page that it was created by fans. Thank you. JazzlineB (talk) 04:11, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Album notability
I think that it might be an assertation of notability to have a charting album even if no singles charted; however, I would say that such cases should be taken individually. As far as I can tell, there're no reliable sources for that artist, so they fail WP:V. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps) 20:04, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia talk:Articles requested for more than a year
Honestly, I think we could do a lot better by converting this page, as well as Wikipedia:Requested articles and its subpages, into a category like Category:Articles with unsourced statements. That way, articles could be categorized by topic as well as when they were requested (eg, Category:Articles requested about natural science and Category:Articles requested since June 2008). There would have to be some way to make this category, either a software change (not likely) or tagging associated talk pages and a reminder that will prevent them from being speedied (WP:CSD#G8). Perhaps something like this could go to WP:VPP to get more attention? shoy 14:25, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not sure I follow the mechanism by which this would work. Since the requested articles do not yet exist, how would we organize them into categories? I think I am misunderstanding this at a basic level. Chubbles (talk) 14:29, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- Like I said, maybe just by tagging the talk page at the proposed article title. shoy 15:54, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- It would take the maintenance of a large number of people, far more than we have. There is very little interest in article creation at this point, as far as I can tell. It seems to me that the majority of regular editors are currently working on sourcing, and tagging pages for cleanup or deletion, rather than creation, and those that are do not use the request pages at all. Chubbles (talk) 16:04, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- Well, there's always bots... shoy 16:05, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, I guess...so the bot would search the page history for when the request was added and then tag it? I don't know how easy that is to code (I am not one myself) or how easy it would be on the database. But it wouldn't do much good without people who were willing to actually fulfill the requests. It seems to me that the real problem is that the pages only get longer, to the point where they are really quite useless because they are so long and unmanageable. Chubbles (talk) 16:09, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- Right, but if they're organized in categories, they'll be less messy and easier to keep track of. Maybe we just run a bot one time to move everything we have right now to pages and then just direct people to tag the appropriate talk page instead of keeping a list. User:SmackBot can automatically add dates to the talk page tags in the future, like it does with a lot of other maintainence tags. shoy 18:56, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

Hello Chubbles, will you help me with editing my biographical page? I am having troubles with uploading the documents / photo files that will provide substance or proof to a lifetime international career. I think you would know how to provide historical data that pertains if I only could send you the documents that are all in jpeg form. I do not have a publicist that would do this easily or the ability to find a good one. But I just read where you thought my contributions were advertizing. I am sorry you feel this way because it hurt my feelings when I am only trying at all times to have the TRUTH written about my career when other artists allow certain lies to be said to generate interest. I do not allow this nor ever have... that is WHY I beleive you could help me now. I believe the truth outlasts the lie and live by that fact which is hard to do in this world. I think you believe in that phiolosophy too. So will you help me? Please don't have my editing power blocked because it takes away my freedom to correct mistakes that someone might place as they did about my own Grandfather on All Music Guide which I am not able to correct. This website at leasts allows freedoms which I treasure as much as you. Regards, Nikki (GM)Hornsby —Preceding unsigned comment added by GM Hornsby (talk • contribs) 04:20, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Punk Goes 90's
Hi, I'm brazilian, for pt.wiki and I need a thing. Can you move Punk Goes '90s to Punk Goes 90's?
I created the Template:Punk Goes... and the correct is Punk Goes 90's.
I don't know how to move because I'm from pt.wiki.
Thanks my friend!

[edit] Say...
...think your magic source finding skills might be able to turn up a few more good refs for the band I'm trying to write an article for over here? They're definitely notable for the albums and chart spots, but I'll be damned if I can find any really solid refs for them... if you happen to have a moment and take a look, and find anything, just drop them on my talk page. I'll finish that one day... really... Tony Fox (arf!) 21:34, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
