[edit] Article Length
The current status of the article (stub) is that it needs a lot of working on. The quality of the information seems to be fairly high, but the lack of information hurts it some.
I am making this page my first project as a member of Wikipedia. I encourage you all to do the same.

you're right about the length, we need to fill it with all kinds of stuff that will make it long er then a stub. Like a list of every album he's ever releaed!

That would be a nice addition!

[edit] Quotes
Come on. Those quotes from King of the Hill are utterly gratuitious and irrelevant. They were most likely written by the show's scriptwriters, not Mangione himself, and they're neither witty, insightful, or even funny.
They don't belong in a biographical article, or at least this one as it stands. If those quotes belong, then perhaps the lead sentence should say "Chuck Mangione is a character in King of the Hill, who also happens to be a real-life flugelhorn player." -- Paul Richter 20:20, 26 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Biography rating
that thing about Biography saying his tune is the most recognizable since "Michelle" - well, that was from the 1980 edition, just a couple years after the song was released... it surely has faded a bit in significance since... so perhaps the addition of the words "in 1980" before that part would put it in a more proper perspective?
- It already says that. silsor 06:18, 30 November 2005 (UTC)
