The Church of the Creator is an Oregon-based church founded by Rev. Dr. Grace Marama in 1969. It was originally established as Grace House Prayer Ministry and first used its present name in 1974.
The Oregon-based Church of the Creator differs from the white-supremacist group previously known as the World Church of the Creator and now known as the Creativity Movement. The use of the name "Church of the Creator" was awarded to the present Church (incorporated as the TE-TA-MA Truth Foundation) in a trademark litigation ruling against the World Church of the Creator that commenced in 2000 and concluded in November 2002.
