The Church of Santa Maria e San Donato is located in Murano, Italy. It is known for its twelfth century Byzantine mosaic pavement and is said to house the bones of the dragon slain by Saint Donatus. This ancient church is deceptively simple in outward appearance. Its richly decorated interior has a marble-and-mosaic floor that was laid in 1140.
