Church of Our Lady of Light, commonly known as Luz Church is a Roman Catholic church in Chennai, India.
The church was build in 1516 by Portuguese Franciscan missionaries, who, while on the sea, were shown the way to the coast by a light, and decided to build a church in honour of Our Lady of Light (Portuguese: Nossa Senhora da Luz).
Located in the Mylapore district of the city, the neighborhood surrounding the church is known as Luz.
The church is not the seat of the Bishop, the cathedral being the San Thome Basilica.
