Chunya

Chunya is one of the 8 districts of the Mbeya Region of Tanzania. It is bordered to the North by the Tabora Region, to the Northeast by the Singida Region, to the East by the Mbarali District, to the South by the Mbeya Rural and Mbozi Districts, and to the West by the Rukwa Region.

According to the 2002 Tanzania National Census, the population of the Chunya District was 206,615.[1]

The District Commissioner of the Chunya District is Frank Uhahula.[2]
