Chullo

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Chullo (pronounced [tʃuyo], from the quechua: ch'ullu, via Spanish) is a Peruvian style of hat made from vicuña, alpaca, llama or sheep's wool.[1] Alpaca has insulating wool like qualities that help to insulate its wearer from the harsh elements in the Andean Mountain region.
